I wouldn't bother using any Raspberry Pi's for mining BTC, ETH, LTC, or any other crypto currency that has had any value since the beginning of 2018.

If you really want to do mining, go check out tech power up's GPU database and find the best GPUs that you can use for mining. Make sure there is software that can support the GPU before purchasing it. Also make sure your PC build doesn't have a CPU or memory bottle neck either. More GPUs are going to be better.

In short mining crypto currency hasn't been profitable for years, except for the people that have entire server farms of GPUs doing it for them. Those $200 mining cubes people used to sell were scams. No hardware capable of actually hashing efficiently would be $200. Also, mining pools are also pyramid schemes where you run a high risk of never yielding ROI.


Making money has always been in buying BTC and holding it until it goes up significantly. That isn't even sustainable investing. Look into dividend growth investing. At least that will work long-term. Better yet, go start buying houses and renting them to other people. Eventually you'll have a real business that sustains itself even better during recessions.
