I love everything about Coinbase and what it stands for.. However, you all are making it hard for me.. To compete against Robinhood, Cashapp, Tdameritrade, and soon to be Fidelity; please find a way to get rid of these fees to buy into the market.. Maybe keep the selling or converting fees.. But, we need more people in the market and the fees are not helping.. Please go public soon.. Merge with Square or buy them if possible.. Or, merge with Facebook as that would allow Basebook to be an industry leader in crypto and p2p transfers and transactions... Most important, I Bcurrently use yahoo finance to manage and see my average cost and gains or losses for all my different crypto investments.. I would love if Coinbase would incorporate my average cost per coin.. Also, add in my daily and total gains and losses.. I should not have to use a third party site to manage investments that I purchased on your site.. Lastly, please add custom alerts for all of the crypto’s offered on the platform... We only have the ability right now to set custom alerts for three assets and again I have to use a third party site for the others.. I would love for Coinbase to be my source for everything crypto...

Good app but...

Very good app, clear graphs and easy to use and navigate around.
However what they don’t make clear when you sign up is that they DON’T sell in Australia and Canada. I have been using it for over a week now and all of a sudden I had a little pop up advising they don’t sell in Australia. I think this needs to be made very clear upon signup (unless it has been changed now). You can still move your digital currency to external wallets or exchanges to then sell but it’s just another extra step when it could be so much easier. Keep up the good work though guys, still a very user friendly app!

I will never get the last 4 hours of my life back

Downloaded the app and found it to be very user friendly until I got to the point where I tried to upload my ID it was taking forever, but the app said it would only take 3-5 min. Additionally, it does not allow you to select your country rather it assigns your country based on IP address...How ridiculous for something apart of a global currency. I’m here traveling and can not buy Any form of cryptocurrency on the app because it registers me outside of the country associated with my ID. I definitely am going to move to a decentralized wallet; the inefficiency of regulated financial institutions and the very reason why Bitcoin was created is showing up here. You would think regulation streamlines efficiency, but don’t be fooled. When I called customer service twice, both times it took greater then 10 min to reach an agent who did not know or understand what I was explaining to be the problem...how inefficient...especially when the country that I am traveling to has the ability to use this same app. 4 hours later I still have in unverified ID and I am unable to buy bitcoin. The worst part is that I will never get the last 4 hours of my life back...how sad.
